- Bachelor’s degree or higher, in business administration or accounting from an accredited college or university.
- Experience in accounting.
- Public school finance experience preferred.
- Demonstrable working knowledge in word processing, database, application software with demonstrable expertise in spreadsheet and spreadsheet graphics.
- Knowledge of New Mexico School Budgeting/Finance
- Must be bondable.
- Minimum three years administrative/supervisory experience in Finance.
- Able to use strategic planning to effect district progress and improvement in student achievement and district operations.
- Able to use technology in supervision and management responsibilities.
- Experience in certified and classified salary/benefits systems.
- Ability to obtain a New Mexico Business Official’s License issued by NMPED.
