Start Date: ASAP
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Valid New Mexico Teaching License. Must be a level II or Level III license.
- Minimum five (5) years teaching experience
- Have a broad base of experience in teaching
- Demonstrate understanding of Common Core State Standards (CCSS); instructional delivery systems and assessment of student learning.
- Demonstrate competencies in instructional methodology that leads to improved student academic achievement.
- Demonstrate ability as a change agent understands and supports stakeholders in the change process.
- Demonstrate ability to build and articulate with staff, students, parents and community a vision of assessment and its correlation with student mastery of standards.
- Able to demonstrate application proficiency in word processing, database and spreadsheet software.
- Embraces and encourages diversity.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working with a changing and flexible schedule.
- Knowledge of district vision, mission, goals, and focus areas.
- Demonstrate ability to provide an environment and climate where positive, productive, progressive teacher collaboration can support student success.
- Able to perform essential job functions and job task requirements noted on the job description.
