QUALIFICATIONS:           

Master’s degree from an accredited college or university

LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS:     New Mexico Public Education School Counselor (K-12) License

Able to understand and apply the concepts of strategic planning with resultant successful implementation to enhance student success and improve student achievement

Demonstrated understanding and application of individual and group counseling techniques to address student needs

Demonstrated communication skills to enhance student, parent, staff and administrative dialogue

Demonstrated understanding and application standards-based curriculum and school-to-work and career counseling for future vocational opportunities

Ability to perform essential job functions and job task requirements noted on
