Warehouse/Cafeteria Delivery

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
- Valid and current New Mexico Operator’s license.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, safety precautions and inventory systems.
- Knowledge of operating warehouse equipment.
- Ability to get forklift certified.
- Ability to read and interpret instruction in order to maintain warehouse services records.
- Knowledge of organizational pattern of the school district and the location of its employees.
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of warehouse procedures in inventory, distribution, shipping, and handling.
- Physical abilities to perform the physical tasks required of this position.
- Able to use technology to perform warehouse responsibilities.
- Uses effective people skills to communicate.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the responsibilities and duties of this job with or without reasonable accommodation. 1. The employee must be able to lift unassisted from floor to waist fifty (50) pounds.
2. The employee must be able to lift unassisted overhead fifty (50) pounds and occasionally carry up to seventy-five (75) pounds with assistance for up to eleven (11) feet.
3. The employee must be able to occasionally move up to 300 pounds with assistance.
4. The employee must be able to daily push/pull items weighing up to 2,400 pounds with a pallet jack.
5. The employee must be able to tolerate positional requirements for traveling from 2 to 4 hours daily.
6. The employee must be able to climb with appropriate equipment, such as ladders and scaffolding, and to maintain balance to perform job related tasks at and up to ten (10) feet above ground level.
7. The employee must be able to walk on varied surfaces up to eight (8) hours per day. |
