Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Associate Degree in related field preferred.
- 2 years secretarial experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of Instruction and Curriculum policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of Federal programs (NM Public Education Department State Initiatives, Title I, II, and III) budgeting and procurement procedures.
- Maintaining site budgets and district program budgets.
- Proficient in Powerschool and online learning platforms.
- Facilitate open enrollment procedures, create district calendar and support professional development and fieldtrip requests.
- Follows district, state and federal guidelines for obtaining quotes, developing request for proposals or bids, and ordering materials, supplies, and/or equipment through the district's purchase order process using IVisions.
- Coordinating district events; district spelling bees, community groups, equity counsels, coordinating district professional development, working with site secretaries, and other events pending program need.
- Support Superintendent's Administrative Assistant with board meetings and other events upon Administrative Assistant's absence.
- Proficient with word processing/typing, databases, and Excel spreadsheet applications.
- Excellent mathematical skills.
- Ability to promote and implement positive and supportive customer service skills.
- Ability to perform essential job functions and job task requirements noted on the job description and as assigned by supervisor.
