Qualifications

 

• Level III Educational Assistants License required
• Functional knowledge of job related duties
• Free from physical limitations, which would interfere with any required lifting duties (students, equipment, etc.)
• Able to perform physical duties associated with delivering services to special education students
• Possess a New Mexico driver’s license
• Ability to perform essential functions and task requirements noted on the job description.
• Bilingual
• Completion of the Early Care, Education and Family Support 45-hr Entry Level Course (Must submit official sealed transcript to the HR Dept)
• Agreement to complete all CYFD required coursework to support Child Development Center STAR rating
• Agreement to complete all CYFD required yearly staff development (24 hours)
• Ability and dedication to working with both HS students and infants and toddlers in a manner that supports their development in all domains (Cognitive, Language, Social, Emotional and Motor/Physcal).
• Agreement to complete Safe Serve Certification
