Qualifications

 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each performance responsibility and its associated duty in a satisfactory manner. The qualification requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Degree in Information Technology or appropriate experience in computer and other technology use, configuration, setup and repair to equal two (2) years.
• A+ certification preferred
• Demonstrates communication and public relations skills
• Valid New Mexico driver's license with insurable driving record.

 

Position Goal

 

Provides technician level computer support for the district technology department.  Major systems are Microsoft Windows 7 Operating Systems, Apple hardware and software, Microsoft Office software, district approved software programs, printer installations and troubleshooting, wired and wireless network protocols, phone systems, internet information services, E-mail and district technology hardware.
