Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED. Associated degree/certificate in accounting preferred.
• Proficient knowledge and ability in the use of English, grammar, and punctuation.
• Two (2) years of accounts payable or governmental accounting experience preferred.
• Experience in a public school district or municipal finance office preferred.
• Knowledge and application of standard accounting procedures.
• Proficient knowledge with database,spreadsheet, and desktop publishing applications.
• Proficient with manual and electronic filing systems.
• Knowledge of financial software systems (e.g., Tyler Technologies, or similar ERP systems) preferred.
