Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED and/or Professional Certificate in work related field.
• Proficient knowledge and application of word processing.
• Skilled in interpersonal oral and written communications.
• Ability to learn database, spreadsheet, and accounting software to reconcile and track accounts payable/receivable assignments and other accounts bookkeeping activities.
• Willingness to learn standard accounting procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of database, spreadsheet, and accounting software to reconcile and track accounts payable/receivable assignments and other accounts bookkeeping activities.
• Knowledge of state procurement regulations and/or experience working with purchasing at a government level.
• Associate and or bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, education, business administration, actuarial science, statistics, mathematics
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of standard accounting procedures.
